Age Verification Policy

1. Eligibility
Only adults age 18 or older who have reached the legal age of majority where they live may use Blurred Encounters. A person under 18 may not enter, register, test adult features, or appear in any content or interaction.
2. Current Age Gate
The current website uses an 18+ self-attestation gate for a public prototype. That button is not identity verification and is not sufficient for launching live adult chat, voice, video, or user-generated adult content.
3. Stronger Verification Before Full Launch
Before adult interactive features launch, Blurred Encounters may require a qualified third-party age-assurance or identity-verification process. Depending on the method, users may be asked for a date of birth, government identification, facial age estimate, payment verification, or another approved signal.
4. Data Minimization
Verification data should be limited to what is needed to determine eligibility and prevent fraud. Raw identity documents and biometric material should not be retained by Blurred Encounters unless necessary and legally reviewed. A verification provider may process information under its own privacy terms.
5. Failed or Uncertain Verification
Access may be denied, paused, or restricted if a user refuses verification, provides inconsistent information, appears underage, uses altered documents, attempts to verify for someone else, or triggers a safety review.
6. Reverification
Reverification may be required after account recovery, suspicious activity, a report, a change in law, a provider change, or evidence that the original verification was inaccurate.
7. Suspected Minors
Accounts reasonably suspected of belonging to minors may be immediately restricted. Relevant records may be preserved and reports made where required. Users must stop interaction and report the concern rather than investigating it themselves.
8. Appeals and Contact
A user may request review of an age-verification decision by emailing blurredencounters69@gmail.com. The request does not guarantee access and additional verification may be required.
